Maharashtra Deaf Fellowship (Mission to India)

Maharashtra Deaf Fellowship of India was founded in 1987 by Lillian Doerksen, a missionary who had worked in India for 36 years in a large Christian orphanage. While at the orphanage, she adopted and raised 34 orphan girls as her own family.

Our Way: Jewish Deaf & Hearing Impaired

Our Way, established in 1969, is a group of dedicated young people who are bringing Judaism to the Jewish deaf. Our Way offers a number of programs, including the OUR WAY magazine packed with information on Jewish laws and customs, and with stories and articles of special interest to the deaf community.
